Fit Contoured Barrel Blank: $140 This consists of removing your old barrel, then crowning, threading, and chambering a new contoured barrel blank. The new barrel is installed, headspaced, marked for caliber, and finished according to your specifications. Our standard blank is the Douglas XX grade barrel, at a cost of $235 each for Chrome Moly, and $300 for Stainless.
Fit Pre-threaded short chambered barrel: $70 This is the installation cost for the E.R. Shaw barrel. The old barrel is removed, and the new barrel is chambered and headspaced, marked for caliber, finished, and installed to your action. E.R Shaw barrels start at $165 for Chrome Moly, and $235 for Stainless. Helical fluting is $130 extra.
Recrown Muzzle: $85 Many times a rifle may have received damage to the barrel crown, or may have had the crown cut out of alignment during factory production. We can recrown the barrel so that the crown is exactly concentric to the bore, and thereby eliminate one of the major causes of rifle inaccuracy.
Barrel Threading: $85 We offer a barrel threading service to enable the customer to attach a muzzle brake, flash hider, or sound suppressor. We deal in suppressors from Gem-Tech and AAC, and can thread your barrel while you wait for your Form 4 approval.
Muzzle Brake Installation: $105 plus brake cost($70 with new barrel installation) We offer muzzle brakes from Shrewd Precision, Ops Inc, and many others. If you have a specific brake you're looking for, contact us and we will probably be able to find and install it for you.
Lap Bolt Lugs: $105 In many factory rifles, the contact surfaces between the bolt's recoil lugs and the receiver are not mated correctly. This can degrade accuracy and cause undue stress on the operating parts of the rifle. If the alignment problem is not severe, this can be solved by hand lapping the bolt lugs and the receiver until 90-100% contact is achieved. Note: This process changes the headspace measurement, and is only offered in conjuction with chambering a new barrel or rechambering the customer's barrel.
Stock Bedding: $125 This is one of the most common problem areas when a rifle won't shoot as well as it should. Improper contact areas in the stock can cause the action to shift under recoil, and can interfere with the harmonics of the rifle barrel as a cartridge is fired. These problems can have major effects on accuracy. We cure this problem by fully bedding the receiver torque points with epoxy, so that it has 100% contact on it's bearing surfaces. We also remove any material from the barrel channel that is contacting the barrel, thereby allowing the barrel to be free floating. We offer full epoxy bedding, or a combination Pillar and epoxy bedding if you prefer.
Recoil Pad installation: $35+pad We offer recoil pads from Pachmayer and Limbsaver, in any style to fit your needs.
Manganese Phosphate Parkerizing: $120 Parkerizing is an extremely tough, corrosion resistant metal finish that is applied to chrome moly steel. It was originally designed and is still used primarily for military and tactical firearms, but we've found that it makes an excellent finish for hard use hunting rifles. The finish is non-reflective, charcoal gray in color, and meets Mil-Spec requirements.
CeraKote finishes: $165 Cerakote is an extremely tough and durable finish that can be applied to increase the corrosion resistance of metals. The finish is applied with an airbrush, and once applied molecularly bonds with the subsurface. This is fast becoming one of the most popular finish choices, due to it's wear resistance and choice of colors.
- Scope Installation: $50+parts and ammo We can mount and zero your scope, and offer scopes and mounts for sale. We deal for Leupold, Burris, Nikon, Sightron, Weaver, Zeiss, and Swarovski optics, and carry rings and bases from all major manufacturers as well.
- Stock Painting: $80-$200 We offer a painting service for synthetic rifle stocks. The base price is for a solid color paint; available colors are black, dark gray, medium gray, earth brown, coyote brown, light tan, and OD green. Camouflage patterns are created by mixing these colors, and examples can be seen on many of our custom guns. We do not paint specific patterns, but allow the customer to specify the colors to match their environment.
